AntOn by Jungheinrich
2 years truck warranty
7 years battery-cell cover

Truck cover: 2 years / 2,000 total hours
Battery cells: 7 years / 10,000 hours
Whichever comes first for each cover

Choose a new AntOn CBH counterbalance with two years or 2,000 total operating hours of parts-and-labour warranty, whichever comes first, subject to the servicing conditions detailed below.

Covers qualifying manufacturing and material defects. Ordinary wear and customer damage are excluded. Applies to eligible new CBH counterbalances only; full terms apply.

Battery cells: the manufacturer publishes 84 months / 10,000 hours for AntOn counterbalance cells. This is cell-defect cover, not the complete battery, charger or a capacity guarantee. Eligibility, original start date and dealer-supplied entitlement must be confirmed for the exact truck before this benefit is included in your quotation.

Want longer truck cover? Choose an optional upgrade to three, four or five years of total truck cover. The quotation confirms the selected price, hours limit and servicing conditions.

Version 1.6 · 13 October 2026 · New CBH counterbalances only · Cover starts as stated in your warranty certificate

How your warranty is confirmed

These terms describe the IVS/York dealer warranty for eligible new AntOn CBH counterbalances. Your quotation and warranty certificate confirm the agreed cover, hours, repair scope, extension price and applicable terms before you order. This page is not a warranty certificate or an insurance policy.

A warranty applies only when the legal seller expressly includes the approved plan in the accepted quotation and issues the relevant certificate. Until then, the warranty in your existing written purchase agreement continues to apply. This page does not change an existing contract.

The summary above describes the arrangement. These conditions explain its intended boundaries. The final agreed quotation, certificate and a dated copy of the terms must be supplied before the order is accepted.

1. Who provides the warranty

The provider is the legal business that sells the truck, identified by its full name, company details and address in your quotation and warranty certificate. IVS and York branding does not make both companies jointly responsible. The certificate also identifies the service team and claim contact.

This is additional dealer cover. It must not be described as a two-year Jungheinrich manufacturer warranty or as insurer-backed cover. Any separate manufacturer rights and any rights that cannot lawfully be excluded remain unaffected.

2. Eligible trucks, customers and use

The offer covers new AntOn CBH 2.0, 2.5, 3.0 and 3.5 counterbalance forklifts supplied by IVS or York under an eligible quotation to UK business customers, at the service location agreed before purchase.

PTL pallet trucks, PSM stackers, used trucks and other brands are excluded from this offer. No automatic cover is given to an existing truck or a purchase already completed under other terms.

Annual hours, shift pattern, loads, gradients, indoor/outdoor use, environment, charger and electrical supply must be checked before ordering. Hire fleets, rental use, cold stores, corrosive environments and unusually intensive applications require specific written acceptance and may need a different plan.

3. Time limits and operating hours

The included plan ends at two years from original end-customer delivery or 2,000 total operating hours, whichever comes first. The delivery date, initial meter reading, expiry date and hour threshold must be recorded on the certificate.

Optional purchase upgrades are three years / 3,000 total hours, four years / 4,000 total hours or five years / 5,000 total hours, whichever comes first for the selected plan. Your quotation confirms the agreed plan and price. All limits run from the original customer delivery and use cumulative operating hours. An upgrade does not restart the clock or add its hours to the included limit.

At 2,000 operating hours a year, a 2,000-hour cap would be reached in approximately 12 months. Tell us your expected use so the quoted plan is appropriate. Continuing paid servicing does not automatically extend the warranty beyond its selected limits.

Notify us if the hour meter fails or the location or working conditions change. Keep the meter intact and agree a documented estimate if a reliable reading is unavailable. Any change to the plan needs written agreement.

4. Covered defects, parts and repair costs

Within the selected period, the dealer warranty covers repair or replacement of eligible mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and electronic components that fail because of a defect in materials or manufacture. This is defect cover, not a promise that every breakdown or replacement part is included.

The scope includes drive and hydraulic motors, transmission and drive axle, steering, hydraulic pumps and valves, cylinders, electronic controllers, battery-management electronics and the charger supplied with the truck. Battery cells are treated separately in section 5.

An accepted claim includes necessary diagnosis, parts, repair labour and normal-hours engineer travel to the agreed UK site. Necessary recovery or workshop transport must be agreed and authorised in advance. Suitable new or professionally remanufactured replacement parts may be used.

The customer excess for an accepted claim is zero. The aggregate repair/replacement limit across the selected dealer term is the original net truck price including its supplied battery and charger, excluding maintenance, delivery and finance charges. Final scope and limits must be confirmed in the approved certificate.

5. Battery cells and charging equipment

The published manufacturer provision is 84 months (7 years) or 10,000 operating hours, whichever comes first, for cells in AntOn CBH counterbalances. See Jungheinrich Goods and Services Terms, clause 7.3.7.1, together with the eligibility and use conditions in those terms. It must not be presented as seven years of dealer parts-and-labour cover for the whole battery.

Battery cells are subject to the separate applicable manufacturer provision, including its eligibility, start date, hours, use and claim conditions. The relevant terms and entitlement must be confirmed for your exact truck and included with your certificate before a battery benefit is promised.

A cell warranty is not a warranty for the whole battery assembly, the battery-management system, contactors or charger, and does not automatically guarantee a remaining-capacity percentage. The dealer component cover above treats battery electronics and the supplied charger separately.

Normal capacity degradation, physical battery damage and damage caused by incorrect charging or storage are not included in the dealer warranty. An accepted cell defect claim does not automatically require replacement of the entire battery.

6. Paid servicing is a condition of the dealer cover

The additional dealer warranty is conditional on an ongoing paid IVS/York maintenance agreement and the required scheduled work being completed by IVS/York or a subcontractor we arrange. Routine servicing is charged separately. No free services or free Thorough Examinations are included.

The agreed schedule follows the exact model manual and the operating environment, using the earlier calendar or operating-hours trigger. The quotation must state the servicing tasks, intervals, site, price, tax treatment and who performs each task. There is no universal fixed service price on this page.

The customer must make the truck available for scheduled work, complete and record the assigned daily/weekly checks, use and charge it correctly, and retain service and hours records. Operator checks and safe use remain the customer's responsibility.

If a visit is delayed, contact us promptly. An IVS/York scheduling failure does not remove otherwise valid cover where the customer made the truck available. Maintenance records and the cause of any fault will be considered when assessing a claim.

If the service agreement ends or servicing lapses, the final contract must state the notice, remedy, prospective effect on additional dealer cover and any reinstatement requirements. No automatic retrospective cancellation of valid accrued claims is intended. An unrelated defect must not simply be relabelled as damage because a service was missed. Manufacturer and statutory rights remain separate.

7. Exclusions and separately chargeable work

Excluded from the warranty are routine servicing, inspections, adjustments, lubricants and consumables; ordinary wear; accidental or impact damage; overloading, misuse and use outside rated conditions; and damage caused by contamination, incorrect charging, unauthorised modifications or neglect.

Tyres, forks, chains, bearings, brakes, hoses and seals may need replacement through ordinary wear. A component is not automatically excluded merely because it is a wear item: a qualifying manufacturing defect in a covered component is assessed on its cause and the approved scope.

Customer damage and neglect exclusions require evidence of the relevant cause. Where work is outside cover, the diagnostic, travel and repair charges are quoted for approval before chargeable work proceeds.

Loss of profit, loss of use, substitute-truck hire, consequential loss and out-of-hours attendance are excluded unless expressly agreed, subject to applicable law. There is no guaranteed response time, uptime commitment or automatic loan truck in this plan.

Statutory Thorough Examination remains separately arranged and charged where applicable. A warranty or maintenance visit does not replace the customer's inspection and safe-operation duties.

8. How to report a fault

Stop using a truck that may be unsafe and notify the service contact on your certificate promptly. Provide the model, serial number, hour reading, site, symptoms, service record and any photographs or fault codes. Do not continue using it if that could worsen the damage.

Obtain approval before third-party repair or dismantling and preserve relevant parts and records. In an emergency, make the equipment safe and contact us as soon as practicable.

We will assess the fault and explain the coverage decision in writing. If accepted, repair or replacement will be arranged within a reasonable time, subject to parts availability. If declined, we will explain the evidence and give any chargeable-work quotation before proceeding.

If you disagree with the decision, contact the supplying company using the details on your certificate and ask for a review by its service manager. Include the claim reference and the reason you disagree. The final certificate must identify that complaints route; no insurer or ombudsman route is implied by these dealer warranty terms.

9. Extensions, transfer and cancellation

Three-, four- and five-year plans are optional purchase upgrades, quoted individually for your truck and use. The final quote must state the selected total time/hours limit, what is covered, the price, applicable tax and customer total before acceptance.

Select a plan when ordering. A later upgrade may be considered within 90 days of original customer delivery, subject to written acceptance, inspection, service records and no known fault or existing claim. It is not automatic and provides no retrospective cover for pre-existing faults.

Transfer to another owner or site, cancellation and any refund are not automatic. Their treatment must be set out in the final approved contract. The purchaser should obtain a written decision before transferring the truck or ending the service plan.

Once a dealer obligation is validly accepted, a later manufacturer refusal or insurance shortfall does not cancel that obligation. A later arrangement for insurance must not reduce cover already contracted with the customer.

10. Documents supplied before acceptance

Your final pack must identify the legal seller and purchaser; model and serial number; battery and charger; delivery date and meter reading; agreed location and use; selected warranty term, expiry date and hour limit; component scope, excess and aggregate limit; and claim contact.

It must also include the paid servicing schedule and price, any extension price and tax, the applicable manufacturer cell terms, and the agreed cancellation, transfer, complaints and service-lapse provisions.

Keep the quotation, certificate and the version of the terms issued with them. Later website edits do not retrospectively alter an accepted customer contract. Your warranty certificate records the start date and limits for your truck.

Five-year hire: an indicative budget

Guide only: approximately £115 per week + VAT for an AntOn CBH 2.0 V1 with the stated 60 A charger, based on 60 months and 500 operating hours a year. The underlying illustration is £490.36 per month + VAT (about £113.16 per week); £115 is a rounded budgeting guide, not a rental available to accept online.

It models a £14,995 truck, a provisional £1,495 five-year dealer warranty upgrade and £140 per month for planned servicing. It assumes a nominal 10% annual finance rate, 60 equal monthly payments in arrears, no initial rental, no residual value and no lender fees. None of these assumptions is an approved Investec quotation or a confirmed credit offer.

Your actual quotation depends on specification, annual hours, shift pattern, site, maintenance requirements and funding approval. Higher-use operations need a different servicing allowance and an appropriate warranty hours limit. A five-year / 5,000-hour plan reaches its hours limit after about 2½ years at 2,000 hours a year.

Delivery and collection, customer damage, ordinary wear, statutory Thorough Examination and equipment insurance are separately quoted or arranged. Service schedules must match the exact model manual and operating conditions. End-of-term ownership or return, excess hours, fair wear and tear, initial payments and fees will be set out in a formal hire quotation.

We can discuss a five-year contract-hire quotation for your operation. This illustration is not provided or approved by Investec and does not confirm that a particular finance structure is available.
