Enquiries and business contact details
IVS Materials Handling uses the name, company, email address, site postcode and information you submit to respond to your request, prepare quotations and manage the resulting business relationship. Please do not include sensitive personal information in an equipment enquiry.
The form also records the page from which you enquire and any campaign labels carried by that visit. This helps us understand which services generate enquiries. We do not automatically subscribe you to marketing when you submit this form.
Website and form services
The website and its enquiry records are hosted using Wix. Wix processes information needed to operate the website, protect forms from abuse and deliver submissions. Authorised IVS staff can access the enquiry records to deal with your request.
The form uses browser storage to maintain a visitor session with Wix. This is used to operate the requested form service. External links take you to services with their own privacy arrangements.
Optional Google Analytics
With your consent, we use Google Analytics to understand website visits, enquiry submissions and clicks on telephone and email links. Analytics is loaded only after you choose Accept analytics. Rejecting optional analytics does not prevent you from using the website or sending an enquiry.
We send the page path and a broad enquiry category, rather than your name, email address or enquiry message, in our custom enquiry events. We remove URL query strings and fragments from the page location we supply to Analytics. Google Analytics also processes technical information about the visit. See Google’s privacy policy for its handling of data.
Your cookie choice is stored in your browser for up to 180 days. Analytics cookies are configured with a 180-day expiry. Use Cookie settings in the footer to change your choice; withdrawing consent disables collection and clears the Google Analytics cookies that this site can access. Advertising tracking and Google advertising personalisation are not enabled by this website.
Retention and your requests
We retain business enquiry information for as long as needed to deal with the request and any resulting work, and to meet applicable record-keeping requirements. Contact us if you need details of the retention period that applies to your information.
You can contact IVS about access, correction, deletion or other rights relating to your personal information at helpdesk@ivsmh.com, or write to Units 17–23 Sandybridge Lane, Shafton, Barnsley, S72 8PH. Rights depend on the circumstances and the information involved. You may also raise a concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office.
