Where this equipment fits
A reach truck is worth considering when the work centres on putting pallets into racking and retrieving them throughout the day. The storage layout, travel distances and number of pallet movements help determine the appropriate ETV configuration.
What to check before choosing
Send your highest storage level, clear aisle width, pallet dimensions and maximum load weight. Include racking drawings if available. A truck’s headline capacity alone does not establish what it can lift at the top beam.
Plan the complete package
Tell us about floor condition, doorways and any areas outside the warehouse that the truck would need to enter. Plan charging opportunities and servicing around the workload rather than assuming every reach truck suits every route.
Can I select a reach truck using lift height alone?
No. Load weight and load centre, aisle width, floor conditions and the truck’s capacity at the required height also need to be checked.
What is included in the price?
Ask for the truck, battery and charger where applicable, delivery, preparation and warranty terms to be set out in your quotation. Mast and attachment choices can affect both capacity and price.
Discuss planned maintenance and repairs and Thorough Examination alongside the purchase. Servicing and examination are separate activities; your quote should make the agreed scope clear.
