Where this equipment fits
Short movements in a small dispatch area and repeated travel across a warehouse call for different equipment. Compare the manual AM, pedestrian EJE and ride-on ERE families around the distance travelled, pallet movements and frequency of use.
What to check before choosing
Confirm pallet dimensions, fork-entry openings, load weight and available turning space. Include ramps, gradients and loading areas. If the truck will travel on a vehicle or tail lift, the truck’s own weight and the complete loading arrangement also matter.
Plan the complete package
For powered equipment, tell us where charging can take place and when the truck can stop. If you need to place pallets into racking, discuss a stacker or another lifting truck rather than selecting a low-lift pallet truck.
Will a pallet truck put pallets into racking?
A standard low-lift pallet truck is for transporting pallets. For storage at height, IVS can help compare stackers, reach trucks and counterbalance forklifts.
What is included in the price?
Ask for the truck, battery and charger where applicable, delivery, preparation and warranty terms to be set out in your quotation. Mast and attachment choices can affect both capacity and price.
Discuss planned maintenance and repairs and Thorough Examination alongside the purchase. Servicing and examination are separate activities; your quote should make the agreed scope clear.
